Recruiter Lite
LinkedIn's entry-level recruiting product, sitting between Premium and full Recruiter. Designed for individuals or small teams making a handful of hires per year.
Recruiter Lite is LinkedIn's mid-tier recruiting subscription, designed for in-house recruiters, hiring managers, or small agencies who hire occasionally but don't need the full enterprise Recruiter product. It costs roughly $170/month (billed annually) at current pricing, though list prices change.
Key features over Premium include: 30 InMail credits per month, advanced search filters (years in current role, years of experience, skill match), candidate tracking via projects, and access to the full LinkedIn member base in search (Premium caps search visibility past a certain depth).
Where Recruiter Lite stops short of full Recruiter: no team collaboration, no usage reporting across multiple seats, no bulk InMail, no integrations with most ATS systems, no ability to search across the full LinkedIn member base without geographic limits.
It is the right tier for a startup making 3-10 hires per year, a fractional recruiter, or a hiring manager who wants to source candidates directly rather than going through a recruiter. For agencies doing dozens of placements per quarter, the full Recruiter product pays for itself fast.
Lite users do not get the "Recruiter" badge that signals to candidates the message is from a hiring authority, which marginally reduces InMail response rates compared to Recruiter Corporate users. It's a small difference but worth knowing.
